De Ster Gelderland - 'De Knoop' easy chair

€0.00
sold out

Vintage easy chair made by De Ster Gelderland in The Netherlands in the 1960s. Model ‘De Knoop’ (The Knot).

This easy chair is an icon of Dutch design and is the perfect example of great design in combination with exceptional craftsmanship. The chair was named after a knot because it looks like the legs and armrests are knotted together. This adds a somewhat sculptural feel to the chair. Even though thick pieces of solid teak wood were used to make the chair, it still looks extraordinarily elegant.
We have two sets of cushions in stock for this chair: blue/grey or white/beige with some grain.
In very good condition.

We also have a similar 3-seater available here.
