Vintage 3-seater sofa made by De Ster Gelderland in The Netherlands in the 1960s. Model ‘De Knoop’ (The Knot).
This sofa is an icon of Dutch design and is the perfect example of great design in combination with exceptional craftsmanship. The sofa was named after a knot because it looks like the legs and armrests are knotted together. This adds a somewhat sculptural feel to the sofa. Even though thick pieces of solid teak wood were used to make the sofa, it still looks extraordinarily elegant. We have two sets of cushions in stock for this sofa: blue/grey or white/beige with some grain.
In very good condition.
